I drove a six-hour motorcycle journey to my grandparents' place. It wasn’t my first time driving for six hours to my grandparents’ place but I usually drove a four wheeled vehicle. But it was my first time driving a motorcycle for that long period of a time and for that long of a distance. I was alone during the beginning and most part of the trip but I caught up with my cousin who was also driving his motorcycle at the ferry boat. I had a couple of stops during the trip to take pictures and to take a breather from the butt-aching journey. The weather was cloudy during the whole trip. It was like God provided me with a huge umbrella.

I was all packed. I brought my whole house with me so to speak. I brought my laptop, my Nikon Camera, my Olympus Camera, my tripod and my mp3 player. And my cousin brought with him a DVD player.
I was surprised that my motorcycle could go fast. I was able to overtake cars and ten-wheeler tracks with ease. It was easy to maneuver because of its lightness. But I was trying to hold back on the speed just to be safe and to be a responsible driver.
My cousin’s motorbike had huge spikes on its wheels. He had easier maneuverability during the rough and rocky road part of the trip. The most difficult part of the journey was driving on a rough, rocky, slippery and wet road. Sweats were dripping down my face during this time. Thankfully, we both arrived at our destination safely.
When we arrived at my grandparents’ place, my cousin attached the DVD to the TV. But he left the remote control of the DVD. And apparently, when we played the DVD, the pictures on the TV were in black and white. It was amusing for me but not for my cousin. He was somewhat pissed-off. It was like watching an old movie.

Both of my grandparents on my mother’s side of the family have already passed away.My twin aunts are the ones living in the house. What I love about the house is the view from the windows.
