For the past few days, it has been raining non-stop. My cousin has returned home the day after New Year’s Day. I have no plans on going home for reasons which I’m not inclined to disclose. There are things better left unsaid. Since I left my city, it has been flooded three times already. Last night, my cousin has sent me a text message saying there has been another flooding. Thankfully in both incidents, the floodwaters have not gotten inside our house. And also last night, another cousin of mine has sent me a text message telling me that I shouldn’t go home yet because he has gotten a news report that rebel groups are roaming around the area which I have to pass through when I go home.
I think GOD is telling me to stay.
